San Dimas Mom Takes Pride in Daughter Academic success
Christina’s mother, Nadine Bianes, has been a single mom since her daughter Christina was one year old. While Christina was very little, Nadine instilled the importance of education. Christina attended Sonrise Christian School from first grade through 5th grade and then they relocated to the Westside. Nadine was adamant about continuing a private education for Christina. After much searching Christina was accepted to a very prestigious private school on a generous scholarship.

Two years ago, when Nadine was diagnosed with a rare eye disease called Vogt Koyangi, they moved back to the San Gabriel valley so Nadine coluld be close to her family.

Nadine is extremely proud of her daughter Christina for all the challenges that have been put before her and beams with pride at her daughters academic success despite all the ongoing challenges in their family life. Christina has remained good spirited and is proud to be in the top 10% of her class at Charter Oak High School where she is also involved in Women Advanced Choir and is currently performing in Charter Oak’s upcoming Musical Production, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”. Chrisy hopes to continue her education at a university to pursue a degree in Performing Arts.
