Assembly Member Bob Huff Names 2006 Woman of the Year



Sacramento – Assembly Member Huff (R-Diamond Bar) is pleased to announce Ling-Ling Chang as the 2006 Woman of the Year for the sixtieth district.

Chang, a member of the Walnut Valley Water Board and the current CEO of the Youth Science Center in Hacienda Heights, was honored in the State Capitol on March 20th. After being presented with a California State Assembly certificate of recognition during special televised ceremonies on the Assembly floor, she was escorted by Assembly Member Huff to a reception hosted by Maria Shriver.

“Ling-Ling Chang exemplifies outstanding leadership and community involvement,” says Huff. “She is an irreplaceable asset to the sixtieth district.”

The Woman of the Year awards are sponsored by the Women’s Caucus of the California State Legislature.

The 60th Assembly District covers portions of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties. The cities and communities include: Anaheim, Chino Hills, Diamond Bar, Industry, La Habra, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, Orange, Rowland Heights, San Dimas, Villa Park, Walnut, Whittier and Yorba Linda.
