The members of the San Dimas L.A. County Fair Community Committee recently announced that San Dimas residents who are currently on active duty with our Armed Forces will be honored on San Dimas Day (September 15th) at the Los Angeles County Fair. Gary Enderle, Committee member and co-founder of San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. (Helping Establish a Remembrance of Every Serviceperson) stated: “We are so proud to be able to honor these men and women who are sacrificing so much. We currently have banners throughout the City for these individuals and we are eager to continue to demonstrate our support.” As part of the San Dimas Day celebration, a reception at the Sheraton Fairplex, a parade, and the presentation of our “Heroes” will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. “Unfortunately, not all of our honorees will be able to be present,” said Janie Graef, co-founder of H.E.R.O.E.S. “In the event of their absence, we hope that family members will attend and accept the honor on behalf of their son, daughter or sibling.” The individuals being honored include: lst Lt.
